Nai e Señora Sobre Lias

Nai e Senora “on its lees” is an evolution of Nai Albarino. The effect of the lees adds body personality to this albarino, making it rounder and more complex on the nose. Its fascinating evolution on the bottle is proof that time enhances the characteristics of Salnes Valley albarino grape and that it evolves nicely as time goes by, allowing a good wine-tasting experience in the 2nd or 3rd year.
Based on the inspiration of the freedom of the butterfly in its flight, this wine Nai albarino audaciously presented in red, hoping to unveil new ways of enjoying this wine.

Bright and clean. Straw yellow colour with lemon green reflections. It is complex on the nose, with a prevalence of varietal notes (citrus fruits, stone fruits, etc.), notes of fines herbes and a mineral background. It has a wonderful balance between acidity and sugar and a long aftertaste. With an enveloping attack, there are strong varietal notes of albarino grape in its retronasal flavour.

NAI E SENORA LEES is produced with 100% albarino grape, carefully hand-picked in 16 kg boxes when grapes reach their perfect point of ripeness, at the end of the mild summers of the Salnes Valley, in the Rias Baixas area.

Wine production

Alcoholic fermentation takes place at 16°C for 21 days in stainless steel tanks, and after it is done, batonnage is performed on its fine lees for at least 6 months.

Maturation

Albariño wine aged on its lees for 6 months, with mineral notes and a high complexity on the nose. With an enveloping attack and strong varietal notes of albariño grape in its retronasal flavour.
