The color is purely a very intense ruby ??shade.

The main aroma consists of overripe Garnach Tintorera fruit, grapefruit, fig cake, red currants and blackberries in combination with hints of smoke and balsamic thanks to ripening in oak.

The wine is slightly sweet at the beginning and the balance of acids and tannins only enhances its stability. Garnach Tintorero's wine is strong and its roasted taste underlines the nature of this long wine. Finally, there is a comprehensive reminder of red berries combined with hints of vanilla, coffee and tobacco.

Region

Vineyards around La Boquera and La Zarzuela. We choose vineyards for this wine depending on their age (from 40 years), smaller yields and abundance. Care from budding to budding also decides care. Harvesting is done by hand and the vines are harvested in crates weighing 100 kg with strict quality control before the crop is brought into the wine cellar.

Wine production

The vinification took place independently, in the traditional way with stalked vines in vertical rotating tanks. The fermentation temperature was close to 32oC and the skins remained in the must for 16 days.

Maturation

Apple-milk fermentation took place in new 225 liter French oak barrels. The wine matured in oak for at least 12 months, clarified and stabilized by cold. After bottling, its shelf life is longer than 24 months.
