Vermucho

Made from a base of the Monastrell and Airén grape varieties, Vermucho is macerated for six months in 300-litre twiceused oak barrels, which were previously used for wine. This process gives it volume and body in the mouth; making it unique and affording it a superior structure which helps it to integrate with the traditional bitterness of the herbs used in maceration. And finally, three aromatic botanicals added, which are previously infused with white wine made from the Airén grape variety. This combination gives rise to the perfect balance between sweetness and bitterness and a subtlearomatic profile which boasts sweet notes of cinnamon together with the balsamic herbs that give Vermucho its Mediterranean character.

The WORMWOOD leaf is the emblem of the brand. It has been regarded as a medicinal plant since ancient times. With its bitter taste, taken as an infusion its benefits for the digestive system are universally recognised. Wormwood is the main ingredient used to make vermouth and gives it its unique bitter notes, which are highly appreciated when it comes to enjoying a pleasurable aperitif.
