All who are dedicated to the wine world know that generally, the color dyed of wine is found in the skin. If we take a (white or dark) and peel grape, the pulp is almost always white. The color is transmitted by maceration of the skins in the must, but there are also some grapes pulp that are red, which, the must obtained after pressing, does not need much maceration to acquire a nice colour. And in Spain the only exception is the Garnacha Tintorera which has its bright colored a deep purple pulp.

This grape is a great unknown. Almost everyone has heard of the Garnacha and Garnacha Tintorera but when they hear, you ask: But is not it? What is the difference between them? And yet it is the most widely planted red variety in our country and produces a different and interesting wines.

Traditionally it has tried a variety of grape producing wines of intense color and structure and was used to stain those wines low layer. Garnacha Tintorera wines are very dark cherry red color with notes of black olive, chocolate, black pepper, creme de cassis, and a final franc ripe red and black fruit. Also in the mouth they show their spiciness, delicate astringency certain rusticity and, at the same time that a balanced acidity and flavor liqueur chocolate so beloved.
